To provide a 2019 Christmas window display with motion and instore interaction

The UK’s largest toy retailer requested Simpson Group produce a window display for their 2019 Christmas sales campaign following the success of their 2017 & 2018 window that we also produced. The display had to be strong enough to stand in the window for 5 to 6 weeks over the busiest and most competitive period of the year. They wanted the window display to turn heads, increase footfall and subsequently increase sales whilst remaining within budget. The window display also had to be easy to assemble so that staff within the store could put up the display themselves if required.
They were presented with our designs which included four linked window options as per previous years for – Gold, Silver, Bronze and Tin. Each version was designed and cost meaning they could pick the option they most preferred and roll it out across the UK. Impressed by all of the options available, the toy retailer decided to go with all four themes, allocating each window display dependent upon each store’s footprint and window size.
