The Opportunity

Excellent opportunity to begin a new career within the ever-growing print industry, with the support of an established POS (Point of sale) organisation with over 45 years of experience.

The Role

The successful candidate will require an aptitude for problem solving, have an interest in the print industry and have a passion for continuous learning. You will be based on site at our Washington head office.

Responsibilities Include
  • Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety in the workplace
  • Send and Receive Digital Files Spreadsheet software
  • Produce estimates from customer requirements
  • Prepare job cost information and produce invoices
  • Agree job specification and prepare production schedules
  • Control Production
  • Purchase materials and services for production
  • Service customer accounts
  • Review print production costs and prepare invoices
  • Choose supplies and suppliers for your business
  • Understanding Internal and External Supply Chains
  • Database Software
  • Monitor organisational quality systems in printing
  • Understanding of the Company Standard Operating Procedures
  • Produce print estimates from Price Lists
  • Handling objections, negotiating and closing sales
  • Maintain and archive print records
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • You will ideally be between 17 – 21, with a minimum of Grade C in Maths, English and IT at GCSE level. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and teamwork
  • The ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
  • A sound mathematical thought process and a firm grasp of figures
  • Fully computer literate
